Please question your faith, because unquestioning faith can too easily be deceived.
Please let your kids question, because questions denied lead too easily to truths denied later. Please let your neighbors question, because it's in questioning that dialog begins. Please question your faith, dialog with your King, and find answers that are bigger than all your questions, stronger than doubt, and clearer than human certainty ever can be. Please question your faith, and take this journey with me. Amazon Print Amazon Kindle Barnes and Noble It was going to be released in June, then July, then... but at last...
It's Here!!!!! Wind and Snow a Triptych of Triptychs, offering three Western-themed stories of strong women in a dangerous world, three poems depicting wind's freedom and cruelty, and three dypstopian tales of a globally warmed "snow" world. Enjoy, just in time for Christmas! Meanwhile the Writers' Mill is about to release it's newest anthology too. Watch this space. The snow stories will be featured there as well. 2018 was a long, long year, with many of my books being temporarily unpublished, and a frantic search ensuing for new publishing venues. Now, at last, all three of the Mathemafiction novels, and all twelve of the Five-Minute Bible-Story books are available again in stores. (My publisher is still working on color editions of the last two, but they're nearly there.) So... what's next for me. Released at last from the rerelease, I'm researching the Island of Patmos (how I wish I could go there!) and revisiting my Revelation Bible study and picture books, ready to start writing John's Joy, the next in the Five-Minute Bible-Story series. I'm also working on the Hemlock stories, with a great group of friends providing invaluable critique. And I just might resurrect the next of the Mathemafiction novels - it's just I wrote it as one story and now it really wants to be two... So much to do and so little time to do it. Meanwhile a wonderful novelist called Donna Fletcher Crow is rereleasing her historical novels and is kindly using me as her editor. I love my job! In 2018, I lost two publishers and learned a wealth of new skills. My Five-Minute Bible-Story series is now being rereleased with Inspired by Faith & Science, an imprint of Ink-Filled Stories, who have also rereleased my Mathemafiction novels. Meanwhile Amazon closed Createspace and my self-published books were rereleased with KDP. I suppose that makes this the year of the rerelease. A Nose for Adventure is still in the upcoming list with Linkville Press, so maybe it will be released in 2019. Meanwhile, here's a picture of my newly republished books, and one of me at the Oregon Historical Society Holiday Cheer event. Enjoy! And Happy Christmas!
Subtraction has been released. It looks wonderful. I'm so proud of it, and I really hope you'll read it. Three Mathemafiction novels from Indigo Sea Press complete the "Divide by Zero" cycle, and now I'm working on book four, Imaginary Numbers, which heads in a whole new direction. But why not enjoy those first three novels, experience guilt and forgiveness, replace despair with hope, and take a "Subtraction" road trip... with cats! Then there are those Tales of Mystery. A Nose for Adventure has just completed two rounds of editing with Linkville Press and should soon be released on the unsuspecting world. See the world through the eyes of an adventurous little chihuahua and chase your tail while reading these tales! Finally, those Five-Minute Bible Stories have grown to fill twelve books! I could turn them into a book a month club perhaps. The latest, Paul's Purpose, has just been released by Cape Arago Press and it looks great. I can't wait to see it in print. But which stories should I write next?
With thanks to JEAN, I've entered the Amazon Storyteller contest with three new releases,
Elijah's Children Rose on the Vine (with special thanks to ELSIE, who kept telling me to publish my Beige Room stories) and Nalya's Sunset I'd love some ratings and reviews, not that I expect I have any hope of winning, but I'd like to try...
